Floris Wamelink

Floris Wamelink casts and presses material until the working shows, then builds the results into rooms you can walk through.

The objects are made by hand: frayed denim, rusted steel, cracked glass, chipped concrete. The scratches and the patina stay in, because they are how you can tell somebody made it.

The work moves between sculpture, clothing, furniture and print, and increasingly into film. He graduated in 2024 and works under the label FLOWED.

Based in Amsterdam. Available for commissions, exhibitions and film work.
